Fire Safety Renewal Certificate

Application for renewal of fire safety certificate shall be made in Form-VI along with Form- III to the Director or an officer authorized by him in this behalf along with the fees @ RS. 1.00(Rupees one) per square meter built-up area in case of residential buildings and Rs. 2.00 (Rupees two) per square meter built-up area in case of non- residential (Other) buildings and deposit fees online to the authorized member of jurisdiction along with following documents.

  1. Fire safety certificate.
  2. Recent passport size photograph of applicant
  3. Photo ID proof (Voter ID or Aadhar or Driving Licence) of Applicant.
  4. Approved Building plans (complete set) containing floor plan, elevation plan, section plan, site plan etc.
  5. Approval letter issued by the Plan approving Authority concerned (desirable).
  6. Ownership documents (ROR, etc.) and development agreement.
  7. Fire Safety installation plan (desirable).
  8. Resolution of Board of Directors authorizing the applicant (s) (if the building(s)/ premise(s) are owned by a company).
  9. Appointment letter with salary details of Fire Safety Supervisor (if any Fire Safety Supervisor is appointed for the proposed building/ occupancy).
  10. Signature of Applicant.

Note:-

  1. Only scanned copies of above document with specific size and type are required to upload in the online application form.(for file size and type see Guideline for FSC under Guidelines to fill-up online application form ).
  2. If fire safety certificate is issued earlier through online mode, the documents as listed above may not be required for online renewal application. However if applicant desires to update his personal information can edit and update the same in the application form while applying online.
  3. Hard copy of any uploaded document may be asked during inspection for verification if required.
